I keep hearing about hogs in Thomas, never seen any. I hunt a place just west of there with plenty of cover but no luck. If you want to hunt public go to Ft Cobb south of I-40, some hogs there.

I was on a lease in thomas on the south canadian river. There was a shit load of hogs until everyone started trapping them. Never really went specifically hog huntin but I did kill over 100 in 3 years.
oh and there are plenty of coyotes in that area.

Definintely plenty of dogs in the area. Go South of I-40 for higher number of hogs.
Like others have mentioned there's quite a bit of trapping going on which will impact your hog success.
Ft. Cobb is shotgun only area, around the area on private property there are a lot of hogs, do some door knocking and chatting with ranchers at the local cafe's - you might get lucky.

Well fellas, we put the hammer down on "some" of them, but there is plenty left.
Unfortunitly, the pics sucked after the first one above.
No hogs found, but plenty of sign. We totaled 13 coyotes in just over two days. Three had mange really bad, others were all nice hides, one was perfect!
My calling buddy phones and tells me that there is a calling contest this weekend in that area. Damn luck, wish we would have known, 13 in two days would have been alright!
