Long thread about the trigger and its issues. No aftermarket triggers and apparently the factory does not have a clue as to how to repair it.
Its been a while, have not heard much sense but I would be very, very wary, especially considering the vast number of similarly priced rifles that all work, starting with the RPR and many others.
Do a search on for TC Trigger issues. Three pages of folks having issues.

Had trigger issues with both my Thompson Center LRR Rifles. I have a .243 and 6.5 Creedmore. Had given up hope of fixing the issue and didn't feel right about trying to sell to someone else. Took them to a gunsmith down the road from me. He said he would look into the problem. Came back with a plan to fix so I gave him the go ahead and couldn't be more pleased with the results.
