Thats a good question i have had a couple of threads vanish myself along with pics.

I'm thinking the Mods didn't like it. The value of a rifle isn't really what this forum is about. No offense. There are probably great resources here for that question. I'm just not sure it's particularly appropriate. Especially if some of the responses led you to someplace like GunBroker.

LL talked about a maintenance feature that this site employs on a daily basis to keep the servers from bogging down....mostly in the pm and email portion of the site features.....it seems the servers read linearly and thus is not able to digest 3 million or so ....what ever per day and function correctly...(i'm not a puter god ).....so maybe you got purged in the shuffle......me thinks it is not anything personal.

I agree with your points boltripper and oneshot, but I got no pm or email saying that it was deleted or going to be deleted. On other sites i participate in, if I do something outside the rules or boundaries of the forum, the mod will warn me if I dont remove the thread it will be deleted.
And oneshot, I do agree that the thread does not fit perfect, and not many people expect to gain much knowledge from the post but me......but still, this is an open web forum and I have the right to ask questions. I did not see a forum rule stating "you cannot ask questions pertaining to the value of your gun."
at least I got a few replies before it was deleted.
