I have a Savage 111 LRH in a 6.5x284. The rifle comes with a muzzle brake you can turn on and off with a twist. I just recently purchased a suppressor and need to find out what threads they would use to attach the brake. Anyone familiar with the thread pattern savage uses for this particular model? Thanks

Re: Threads on Savage 111

The only way you will know for sure is to take the brake off. My 10FCP-K in .223 was 5/8-24 - I wasn't expecting that but was glad I checked before I ordered my can.

Re: Threads on Savage 111

I talked to savage today and i was informed the thread patter to attach my muzzle brakeis 9/16x28. Now does anyone know of a company that makes a thread adapter that goes from 9/16x28 to 5/8x24 so i can attach my suppressor?
