I suppose, living where I do, and having lived where I have, that something like this, while disturbing, doesn't shock me. Altercations like this probably happen dozens of times a day in Philly. Hell, in Reading, they settle grudges out with lighter fluid and Zippos. We live in a cruel world.

I wish I wasn't on the clock so I could say what I really want to, but it makes no difference. We all feel the same damn way. A disgusting act by anyone's standards but no, the bar has been lowered so god damn low this piece of shit just waddles over it. I will say this. This would not have gone without a penalty. Only one way to fix this type of shit, and I'm sorry to say, some people just need to be shown the error of their ways in terms they can understand. Hope the fucks got a chicken bone stuck in their throat.

Again I see we were fed fake news. The press made it sound like the perps were a man and a woman. Now I see it was two men. One skinnier than the other.

Of course all lawful people should have a gun, but I don't see how it would have helped in this case, unless having the gun would have caused her to decide to stay inside the store. No retail business owner should respond to a disgruntled customer with a gun in their hand, and she certianly had no idea what she was going to face when she went out the door. The poor daughter rushing to her mothers aid with no thought for her own safety. While I have no problem with burying them under the jail, I suspect that they will be greeted as hero's at the jail.

Missing from the story is the legal history of these perps. I wonder how many previous arrests and convections these people have. If they were on parole, perhaps instead of being sent to jail they should be sent to live at the home of the parole board members.

That took a lot longer than I expected - and they didn't even "catch" them, despite US Marshals involved in the search and a 2K reward.
