New England
Hey All,
Been enjoying the search button and picking up some great information..

Been a shooting and hunting enthusiast a long time.
All of which has been in New England so there hasn’t ever been a real need or desire to learn long distance type of shooting..
Most bird and deer here are taken in 100 yds or less…I’d guess 50 yds really..
Anyway, I recently started trying my hand out to 200 yrds with an old but reliable 30-06 hunting rifle with a vintage taco scope on it..
To my surprise I was hitting the paper pretty well…
I’ve always told my wife and myself that when I retired I’d do some adventure travel while I still could.
Hunt hogs down south maybe Ram in the north west…
Throw a fishing trip in there once or twice a year.
So in preparation I bought a Sako S20
In 6.5 creedmoor….
I haven’t done anything with yet…
I need to get scope rings or mount and a scope to start with…
But once I get it set up and get comfortable shooting out 600 yrs or so (our club range only goes out 600)
I’ll get started…Hope to book a trip soon and hunt some hogs in the fall….
Anyway, that’s a long hello…
Thanks again for having me..
