I just got back to the motel. I am going to post a little bit before I go to bed. It was a long day. We shot 6 events plus the night shoot. The night shoot did not go as planned it was pulled. Tomorrow we shoot one long event and then the match is over. Quite a few HIDE members shooting this match. They ended up with about 38 teams.

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

I'm anxious to see the next post about this match...who won!?

Thank you TJ for allowing me to be a spectator at this match! I had a great time watching yesterday's stages.

Boltripper's a real buddy. He brought me a sandwich and a V-8 juice that tided me over for supper. Thank you!!!

Matt and Kevan were great to follow and film. Thank you for a great learning experience!!!

Charlie and Rob...loved rooting you guys on in that one stage that Rob totally made possible with his quick assembly skills.
Thanks for the great camaraderie!!

John...sorry I couldn't find you on the firing line to get to gaze through your night optics...fortunately Matt had one I was able to look through... neat stuff for sure. Thank you all the same... deeply touched you sought me out...for sure...

Steve...sorry I didn't get to run into you either for the same option to look through your night optics... thank you all the same... it meant a lot to be able to hope to look through it...and I'm glad I finally got to do so!!

Terry and Jimmy... a sincere pleasure to visit with you two! Good luck on your upcoming match and in all your ventures. Thank you so much for being so charming and hospitable to all my questions and such! Great looking stock that McMillan Sentinel. Bravo!!

Thank you to everyone that spoke around me and said something clever or just "honest" real male speak... I got good fun dialog from lots of people... save for the "tacticool" crowd-- No, I don't have any dip!!! LOL that was hilarious!)

Cheers!

So how did that work out for you, turbo?

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

We should have gotten directions from you guys, me and JL are taking all kinds of back roads to get out of Texas, lol

Great match and good time, it was great seeing all my Texas bros and meeting some great new folks. Cudos to TJ and the staff we had a blast. I may be back in a few we're taking 190 to get around Houston to Beaumont quite a new journey for me. I'll let you know how it works out, lol

Hi Melody, Rob here. That assembly stage was intense but that's the kind I love. Thanks for the drilling beforehand.

The Oklahoma guys won by a large margin. They had a well rounded game and will be tough to challenge next year! To put it in perspective, they could have gotten a zero on a stage and still won...

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

Scooty Puff SR, were you the guy that left his vehicle at the 500 yrd line before everyone shot?

Stand by I will post more in a minute.

OK,the Tiger Valley Team Match is in the books. First I would like to thank TJ and company for all the hard work they put in to make this match happen. Second to the winners, good shooting guys and also to the sponsors. Everyone needs to drop a line to the sponsors to THANK them for donating products for the prize table.

Todays event went very smooth on our relay. TJ said he was going to have the scores up and the prize table done by 12. He got it right on the mark.

Hey it was GREAT shooting with everyone. Chad, Tangdown, CKA, Bad Karma, Boltripper, Toddac, Terry Cross, and eveyone else. Also SuperBee 950, another GREAT job.

Leave my gas gunner alone! Only I get to pick on him.

TJ and crew,

Blast as usual, man. Ya'll had a snafu with the weather flooding everything out but still adapted and put on a great show.

Chad, you did a great job! Especially for being so new to gassers. I'm proud of you.

Good for you and your match results. You aught to be super proud of all that effort during the "drilling"...not everyone got their AR assembled (someone asked about this in another post)..

Good luck in the future...hope to run into you again...was great to see Charlie again...too...

Cheers!

Congrats to the everyone...that it was a safe match makes everyone a winner!

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

To all the sponsors a big Thank You. To the winners, congrats. Thanks BK for carrying me on the stages where I handicaped us. A big personal Thanks to all those who offered up you guns(John) and bolts(Bryce) and ammo (TJ and Nate). After my bolt failure on stage 5. I figured me and my partner were finished. To finish out where we did with the equipment problem we encountered, I feel pretty good. We could not have done it without your help. This was an excellent match with some real stand up guys. I really appreciate all the hard work that went into making this possible. Thanks again to everyone.

Semper Fi,
Chuck Ross

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

TJ, Benjamin, Bret, and all RO's and staff- THANK YOU very much for a wonderful match. This match ranked as one of the best one's I've attended. There were some great stages and new challenges. Some stages were oldie but goodies, but with some big twists mixed in to make it difficult.

I love running the gas gun! I was a blast. It doesn't get better than drilling steel targets as fast as you can with an AR.

CKA- Thank you for the great support and comments! You're a team partner for the match! Let's do it again, if we can.

Ok, Ok- Here comes the big part- That puddin' was good!

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

This was one of the best times I have had in a long time. Thanks TJ and all your staff for a fun time. Your welcome Ross with the ammo anytime. Cant wait for the next match to come around.

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

Could someone PM me an email or the name of the person I could call at Black Hills so I can thank them for supporting us. I searched and found the phone number but no email. Thanks

Oh and I ended up with one box short of a 500 round case of 175 grn 308. My partner gave me his stack in exchange for his half of the match fee. LOL.

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

Hello Dram40a1, my contact at Black Hills is Kristi Hoffman. Her email address is her first name followed by black-hills.com. Black Hills not only makes outstanding ammunition, they're also a fantastic sponsor to work with.

Many thanks to all who attended the match. We had a great time running it!

I'll make the scores available ASAP.

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

Thanks to everyone! Really enjoyed visiting and making new
friends in group one. Thanks to Chuck, BK, Marcus, JT, Nate, and everyone for helping out the newbies. Look forward to the next one... -Adam

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

THANK YOU SPONSORS!!!!!!!

Many thanks to everyone who helped us out with equipment and ammo after Stage 5. Chuck, I had the easy job and it was a pleasure shooting with you.

To the gentleman who offered up his spare rifle (John, I think), thank you very much. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and I hope to see you down the road.

We learned a lot of lessons and really appreciate all of the hard work that went into this match.

Now if I can just put real names with screen names, I'll be getting somewhere...

Lucks pm me so I can match names.

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

What a great match!! As always, TJ and all the crew at Tiger Valley were top notch!!! And the prize table was awesome!! Kuddos out to all the sponsors.

The wife and I had a great time shooting and visiting with our fellow shooters. Can't wait for the next match.

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

TJ, you guys put on one heck of a match! Thanks to everyone who helped make things happen. This has been definitely one of the best matches that I have ever attended...with some very challenging stages ie. picket fences etc. Thanks goes out to TJ for all the time spent making phone calls etc. to all of the sponsors in order to get such a great prize table. I really liked the way you guys went over the different stages with the overhead projector and the way that each individual team was called out to go to the prize table.

It was good to see all of the regulars and meet some new shooters. It's always a good time when you spend time around like minded people.

See all of Y'all soon!
BTW: Today I sent in my certificate for the Larue Stealth upper...Can't wait!

Re: Tiger Valley Team match updates

Brandon Parscale from Parscale Photography did a fantastic job as our official photographer. He has over 800 picture to sort through.

We're working on ideas on how to get a whole bunch of the good ones out there for everyone in a nice high-res format.

So, to get started with...
