This is a takeoff barrel from a Tikka I bought new. It immediately was taken off and rebarrelled using a professional vise and action wrench. The barrel is pristine and unfired and was not heated or relief cut for removal. This is one of the new production models, I bought it a few weeks ago, and it had antiseize on the threads rather than threadlocker.
The barrel was professionally removed and then packaged, the chamber and crown are pristine and never touched anything.
