Tikka t1x Magazine Storage

Hey guys,

Looking for a storage solution for some t1x and t3x magazines. I'm newish to bolt guns, been shooting gassers for years now.

Currently use mtm cans for my AR magazines, and I use pelican 1040 cases, which fit ten 10/22 magazines PERFECTLY.

Any of you know a good case with great fitment for Tikka mags?

I simply use a pistol magazine storage pouch for my 22 lr Tx1 mags. Holds 6 securely and all in one place.

At a match I never put an unloaded or partially loaded mag back into the pouch, these I keep in a 1040 pelican till fully reloaded.

Thanks for the idea with the pistol pouches.

I had an unused Cloud Defensive ATB that has pistol mag sleeves built in. I can fit ten t1x magazines perfectly in those, plus there's room for the kestrel and a few hundred extra rounds in the bottom.

I tested it out with the t3x CTR mags as well, and ten of those fit perfectly in the bottom, after removing the velcro pistol mag sleeves.

Not only that, but it fits two pelican 1040 cans perfectly as well.

So now I have three of those, one in gray to match my gray krg bravo 10/22, one in coyote brown to match my FDE t1x bravo chassis, and one in green to match my sako green t3x chassis. Badass and organized, easy to pick up the right one.

Nothing soothes my OCD like a Pelican 1040 full of 10/22 mags.
I have also been using the Husky 6-compartment organizer from Home Depot for my 10/22 mags with base pads and my Tandemkross DoubleShot mags. Those might work for the Tikka.

This thread isn't getting much activity, but in case anyone's curious, here's how things fit in the cloud defensive atb:

Pic 1: two pelican 1040s fit great with the pistol sleeves removed

Pic 2: gray atb with my volquartsen vm-22 wearing a gray krg bravo chassis

Pic 3: how the tikka mags fit in the atb - plenty of room for a brick and fix it sticks or whatever

Pic 4: brown atb with my t1x wearing a fde bravo chassis

Pic 5: nine t3x mags, could fit one or two more laying flat on top of the others

Pic 6: olive drab atb with my 6.5 t3x wearing a sako green chassis

I like em. BTW, I'm saving up for scopes, currently swapping the Cronus between all three.

The colors match much better in person... not perfect, but better than the pics
