Hey everyone, new guy here... I've been spending most of my time browsing the scope section as a new optic is in the works. Seems that I see a lot of info on Area 419, DIP, etc. But, for my centerfire stuff I've been running all Seekins rails/rings/mounts and I've been really happy with them but that's not a complete option here. I could get Seekins rings and the the rail from EGW but:
What experiences have y'all had with the EGW base for the T1x?
Any experiences with their 30mm HD tactical rings?
Scope is somewhat in question but I'm leaning heavily, about 95% sure, towards the Tract Toric UHD 4-20.
99% of the time I'll be shooting at <100yds but have access to 200 between neighboring properties so I am considering the 20moa rail just to be on the safe side.
Or, given the distances I'll be shooting that 99% of the time should I just roll with the Tally T1x single piece base/ring combo? I've never used Tally but I've heard great things about them overall.
Just trying to be realistic here and not go overboard on a "fun gun" so any info y'all can provide here would be great. Also, other optic suggestions welcome... The Toric just checks a lot of boxes for me, but I know that's a whole other topic.
