Tikka T3X to AICS mag conversion

I just bought the new tikka ranahan T3X -223. I’d like to use aics mags. Who do you guys recommend for bottom metal and are these direct drop in??

None of them are drop in
I use the Atlasworx one. Works fine.

Depends on your intended usage but....

Honestly I'd stick with the Tikkas mags. You aren't giving up a thing except overall length potential with the longer bullets. There are a couple manufacturers making enhanced factory style tikka mags as well to allow loading longer.

Don't fall for the metal dbm will make your groups better sales pitch either, cus it won't. The only thing that will make your tikka shoot better is working up a good handload for it and putting on a high quality cut rifled tube.

I use the Waters Rifleman 6 rd factory type mags that handle a 2.4” coal. They are also available in 2.6. Nice tight fit and work flawlessly.

+1 for Waters mags.

I’ve had a couple of 223 setups using the 10-round long OAL mags and they’ve all been superb. Unbelievably quick shipping from AUS as well.
