On my A1 the front rail isn't centered on the barrel ( just a hair to the right) and it sits a hair lower than the scope rail in the back but gets higher toward the front. Has anyone tried to adjust it? I've looked at a ton of pictures online and I can see on most of them the front rail portion is just a hair under the main rail so I'm assuming it's common. Anyway, has anyone taken it off or made any adjustments to it. Before I mounted my scope I ran a straight edge for the entire length of both rails and it's obvious the longer bolt on portion isn't aligned right. The problem I'm running into is that with the 0 MOA rail, Razor Gen 2, sunshade, and angled front rail the clearance is getting tight. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are 2 bolts in the forend near the barrel nut. Loosen them up and try to make an adjustment. If you don't have enough clearance, go with higher rings. I use 1.50" rings for a 56mm scope, sun shade and Vortex flip cap. Picture shows the barrel nut with the forend removed.
