I think I would like the ERT 34mm 20x leupold but cannot get past good photos on line showing a hollow reticle intersection. Photos showing the S and B reticle alongside the TMR make my eye go to the 'hole' in the TMR reticle.
Is this something I see in a photo that will not manifest itself in actual use?
I do not know the purpose of the hole and do not have a sample to see. I know the SB and NF reticles do not seem to need the numbers and do not have a 'hole'.

eta; I guess I do know the purpose is another reference but not necessarally one I need.

Re: TMR Question

The center aperture is very small and designed so the reticle does not obscure small targets, particularly at distance. It doesn't bother me at all, in fact, I have really grown to like this reticle. At 10x the hole is only worth 0.14 MIL, at 20x it is only worth .07 MIL.

+1
I didn't think I would like it at first but I am having a hard time going to something different now

Re: TMR Question

I wish more scope manu's would go with the open type. I agree on, it makes seeing smaller targets better, and allows splash to be more apparent, while staying on the smaller targets.
