To buy this 7mm WSM or not?

a guy has had this 7wsm on a site here in Houston for several weeks. It is a Savage model 11. Composite stock, accu trigger. Asking $350.

He says he got it for Xmas 2008. So it may or may not have an accustock....they came out in 09.

Says he has shot 1 1/2 boxes of ammo....He doesn't know if it has the accustock and I haven't told him to look for 3 screws under the action.

I was thinking about giving him $300 if it checks out.

Doesn't Walmart sell those for $500 or so? I'm thinking about buying it for my next project. I keep wanting a 7WSM and Savage seems like a good way to go if I ever need a new barrel.

What do you guys think??

I'd say jump all over it, sounds like a good deal and I think that Savage is a respectable manufacturer....I want me one of those 7wsm's too....

yep...may offer him $300. Hard to lose at that price. I have been meaning to go by Walmart and see if they still sell them for $500.

Buy it ........ it's cheap enough.

If you don't like it ...... build on the action or sell it !
