Will be hunting on a friend’s property in November. ( already have my out of state buck and antlerless tags!!) in Coopersburg
. Not worried about going through Orlando airport but am concerned with the police at Newark airport or getting stopped by New Jersey State police in my rented car. I am a Florida resident.

The rifle will be in a locked plastic case and ammo in a separate container. The airline will except it.

Just wondering what the implications are should I get stopped by any LEO?

Would appreciate only known facts or laws and not what you might have got away with!

Thanks

I second that, fly into either philly or Lehigh valley international or anywhere else in PA and do not land in the people’s republic of NJ. The state police and local attorneys in north NJ would love nothing more than to catch you breaking one of their stupid asinine gun laws so they could throw the book at you and jack each other off rather than spending time prosecuting actual criminals.
