Hiya guys.

I got hired on as a handyman to help a tv show production crew thats filming a show about mountain peoples tricks in the mountains on NC.

Then in like one day I got promoted to survival/primitive skills technical advisor/ and primitive gear/stuff/items maker.

So far I have made a board (bow) steamer tank, A Bow form to bend a bow. I a hickory bow that was completed and steamed into a recurve.

I made a survival camp and have put out a real deal primitive trap line. I also caught fish out of mountain stream so the on screen "talent" can catch the trout. I got paid good money for it all- playing in the woods doing what I love any way.

Now I have been promoted to "talent" - they decided they want me to be a "recurring character" on screen- another wood savvy guy!

Kinda neat! Living the dream boys- playing in the woods and being paid good for it.

I wrote about that incredible book I read:
http://www.tnpredators.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=1792.html

Using EXACTLY the formula of prayer I learned in that book I asked God in two (separate) prayers 1. God please provide me an AWESOME job,

2. God Please further my wilderness skills.

GOD answered BOTH prayers in one deal. I'm making great money and working with two other survival guys; We are teaching each other the really cool survival tricks we know. God is an amazing God. It;s so cool He answered two prayers in one deal!

Thanks for celebrating with me friends,
T

the power of prayer...something that I am always seeking from God and not the please, please can you give me x. Getting into God's plan for you is not very easy but I always strive. Good on you TresMon and pray for the best for you.

Re: TresMon on (Survival) TV!

Im glad that things are working out so well for you. But I think it has more to do with your hundreds of hours of training in a set of specialized skills than anything a god has done for you.

I don't post on here often, but I do spend entirely too much of my time reading. I have found your outdoor/survival information to very helpful and have learned from it. Sounds like you got a well deserved gig, congrats.
