I have been reloading for 3 years now. Until now I had never worked a load specific to a rifle. I had a precision long range rifle course i took this last weekend (my first and I loved it) so I figured what better time to try a load work up. I was ecstatic, and am happy to report that by following the instructions in those stickies that it yielded great results.
The platform was a bone stock Remington 700ltr in 308. I used the hornady 178gr bthp match bullets seated in Lapua brass with varget powder, and 210m primers. I was able to get a .344 5 shot group @ 100yards.
I just wanted to say thanks for the time to write up those instructions. I never expected a factory Remington to produce that kind of group with just a little extra work. Thanks big time!!!!
