Sure, it's not the prettiest but functions great.

Cost?

$.69 yardstick from Lowe's
$.75 longer screw from Fastenal

Wood glue.

A little sanding, a little shaping and Voila!

I still like Terje's with the flexibility it offers.

Just my .02 </div></div>

Me too, but this one costs less than a buck fifty.

Stefan, I believe Terje makes quality stuff (from what I've seen) and I will find myself eventually getting something from him. But this settled a couple of issues.

1, I didn't know what size I needed. Now, when I order I can order the correct size.

2, it took me all about a half hour from start to finish.

3, I paid for everything with spare change from my car.

Sure, it looks like crap but the NPA is just about better than any rifle I've ever had.

I've got a coupe of black hawk lace up cheek rests, new never used, if y'all want something a little better.

I've used stacked washers to get the height. Only thing that sucks is the space being open between the stock and cheekpiece.

I think my bank account is going to be on a permanent diet with you guys around...

I made one with stacked leather. Sort of the same idea that is used to make knife handles. Just keep stacking up precision cut leather (horsehide) washers the shape of the cheekpiece until I get the perfect height. Then, glue the pieces of leather together, dye 'em, and all done.

I just love cheap, effective fixes.
