When firing the Win 300 Mag it seems I need a come along to pull the trigger shooting from the bench. Have not done a trigger change and would appreciate some suggestions.

Nothing much wrong with a Winny trigger just needs some fiddlin to make it smooth and crisp, Im sure there are a few smiths on here that would agree its one of the most fail safe designs out there just needs some TLC to make em break perfect... I'm not sayin you don't want a Jewel/Timney, just not the only option when it comes to a Winny.....
Ive had more than one (model 70) worked over (actually like more than 5) and couldn't be happier and I have Jewels on all my Remmies...
I hate crummy triggers, nothing worse in my opinion

Good luck!!!

The OEM 2-lever is a good piece, just needs fiddling.

The OEM spring is ONLY safe down to ~2.5lb. DO NOT go lower without a new spring. The key is for the spring to be preloaded, even when cocked. There MUST be spring force trying to push the trigger forward at ALL times. Otherwise, you can have bolt-closure discharges.
