I have a bergara bmr 22LR. FOR a couple years. When I got it I installed a triggertech primary on it and she has performed flawlessly for over a year or longer. Couple weeks ago I installed a TT DIAMOND in it , and once in, the trigger would not reset when I cycled the bolt. I removed the TT DIAMOND and put the TT PRIMARY back into it. That is the same trigger that worked flawlessy for a long while and now it’s doing the same thing. It seemed like if I unscrew the action screws a little loose then it will reset the trigger a bit better but now 100%. Would anybody know the cause of this? Could it be due to the stock not being pillar bedded and action screws squeezing a little too much?
(Both trigger worked well this same day when installed in my HMR PRO)

Yes both trigger function when it’s just the barreled action. And when the actions screws are in and especially torqued to spec , the trigger is usually touching one side of the stock and is not centered like it is supposed to be when looking at the trigger through the trigger guard.
Maybe I cross threaded one of the action screws or something ?

Put the original trigger back in and see it it works. Check the pins for straightness. Check the trigger housing for damage. Sometimes if the holes are off, pounding in the pins will bend the trigger housing and bind up the internal parts.
