Triggers?

I have used Jewel triggers for 20 years, in hunting guns and benchrest guns. I don't hear of many people using them on the Sniper side. They were around before any of the triggers out now. I am looking at using one, if needed on a Bergara B14R. They are cheaper than a lot of the other and can go from 2 oz to 4lb. And know they are great triggers. If you use one in a Bergara or anything let me know.

I don’t personally run jewel triggers and don’t have first hand knowledge, however, from my research and understanding, they are susceptible to dust and harsh conditions. Therefore, not a strong following in the NRL/PRS. Of the people I know that personally run them on hunting rifles, they love em.

There is nothing wrong wi th a Jewel trigger just dont let it get to dirty.
I sold the last one I had last year to another member and have switched to the Trigger Tech specials and no complaints with them either.

I am using Tubb 2-stage triggers in my Vudoos and 40Xs and am very happy. No reason for me to change. And I am a total trigger snob.

I purchased one of the T7T triggers from a forum member and had high hopes of using it but it wasn't a good match for my trigger hanger and had to sell it since I didn't want to modify the Trigger or the hanger.

I’m also a Jewell trigger fan, I have tried the trigger techs, and the timney Calvin elite.. I prefer the feel of a Jewell. I bought a Jewell for the B14r I have and have ran around 500 rounds through the gun since the install with no issues, no failures of any kind, I also have it turned down into the 2-4oz territory.
I bought it direct from Jewell $225 delivered to my house!

Thanks, I will go with a Jewel if I need to replace the trigger.

Robbed a Jewell br trigger and have been running it fOr probably 1k rounds out of one of my B14rs. Never had an issue with it at all. If it had a safety I would leave it in.
