Triggertech Click-Adjust Pull Weight System

Just installed a new Triggertech Special on my Remington 700 and am wondering if the CLKR set screw stops turning at both ends of it's travel over it's range between 1lb and 3lbs? I know they ship with the pull weight set somewhere in the middle and am wondering if I can just adjust the pull weight up to 3lbs and then back it down, 1oz per click. If the screw doesn't stop rotating at the 3lb mark, then that tactic will not work.

If i remember right, my screw hard stopped but it wasnt at exactly 3 pounds. Also it goes the other way until it stops clicking, then one click in is as light as it goes.

My Triggertech is just a standard 700 and it goes from 2.8ish down to 1 pound on my TL3, and I think it goes from 3 down to 1.25 on my Impact. I love the trigger btw.

My understanding is that your firing pin weight also plays a role in the final trigger pull weight. Here is a good video on the 700 special and pull weight at different settings.
