Howdy all. New to the board and new to any sort of distance shooting. I just picked up a 20” POF .308 and have been hanging out in the “Semi-Auto” section until now.
I’m starting my quest for glass.
I’m drawn to the Trijicon AccuPoint line because they have no batteries. I should have gotten a ACOG opposed to a EoTech for my 5.56AR.
Any input on the Trijicon scopes?
Any other battery-less brands/models on the market? I didn’t come across any.
99% of the time I will be shooting out to 600m, the limit of the ranges around me. I’m considering a 2.5-10x56 with a quick release mount so I can swap in a zero or 1x sight for close up work.
Link to Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-10x56
I’m not looking to put every round through the same hole. My goal is to be able to put rounds in a standard IPSC target (my background is in pistol shooting).
Thoughts, comments, advice?
I’m a noob and I am all ears.
Thanks!
