I have to say I was kind of disappointed yesterday. I had just gotten my 700 Tactical 20" LTR back from the smith, having it duracoated, a Badger Ord. bolt lift put on, and have the stock trigger cleaned up. I just got my new AICS Chassis in and was putting it all together. Went to bore sight my like new, only had since April shot 60 rnds. through on a DPMS LR 308 Trijicon Accupoint 5-20X50 Mildot when the windage adj. froze up. Yep will only turn left,(up)and wont move to the right(down). I pulled the knob off looked at the brass and metal fitting and could not see a reason why it would do that. I called Trijicon and spoke to a very nice lady in customer service. I advised her of the problem and I was given a return authorization number. She asked if I was LEO or Active Duty and then instructed me to place a copy of my creds. along with a note explaining what was wrong with the scope and that they would try to have it back to me ASAP. So I am wondering if any fellow members here have had any experience with Trijicon warranty service/repair and if any of you might be able to give me an indication of what might be wrong with my scope, besides its broke lol. I am very happy with the scope except for this issue, the glass is as clear as a friends Ziess. This is also not meant as a thread bashing against Trijicon either. I understand that sometimes things just break or a few get out that looked just fine but when finally put to use, well not so much.

I got the same scope along with the 3-9x40. Haven't had to use CS yet. I hope the only time I will need to contact them would be to get the tritium recharged.

I had a problem with my 1-4 Accupoint. The "easy focus" eyepiece was moving under recoil, after just a few hundred rounds. I went through the email version of getting a RA # and was told the same thing, faster if you are LEO/MIl otherwise it was supposed to be a 4-6 weeks turnaround.
I received a NIB Accupoint roughly 2 weeks later with no questions asked. Mine had been dropped and was concave on the exit end of the tube, did they care? No. As far as the CS goes, I have to say that they are top notch. If I were you I would rest assured that you will be satisfied with whatever solution they come up with. My scope had clearly "seen some use" and they gave me a new one without a second thought.

Meat Hunter, I was kind of in the same boat as you. But I am the type to buy what I can see and put my hands on. I was looking at the IOR Valada and Trijicon. Having used ACOG's and knowing Trijicon's reputation and that they are a U.S. based company combined with getting my hands on the one I did, sold me. The glass is very nice.The turrents are clearly marked as to which way to roate for elevation and windage.The side focus and easy eye focus are great.The green tritium dot in the center of the cross hair does not over power and you can controll the brightness of the tritium by rotating a cover that allows all the light in, to very little or none at all. There are 3 allen screws on the turrents that allow you to reset the turrents to zero. Underneath the turrents are solid brass and metal fittings for the controls. That is one of the reasons I am supprised that the scope broke. Maybe the heavy impact from the .308 bolt carrier group cycling on my old LR-308 jarred the scope just enough that it caused the turrent to sieze? Shooter, thanks for posting that, it helps to hear when a person themselves had to deal with an issue as opposed to my wife's brother's girlfriend's dad ect. lol. I will keep every one posted Thanks again to all.

Ok Update on my scope. I sent it out on Friday July 28th to Trijicon via UPS. Coming from Ohio to go to Michigan it arrived Monday Aug. 1st. Today August 4th I called to see if the service dept. had even looked at the scope yet. The nice and hot sounding lady on the other end stated, yes we have it repaired the adjuster was broken and they repleaced the whole windage internals tested it and it will ship out to me today, August 4th.So 3 days and it was received fixed and ready to be shipped back out to me. I was told that it should not have happened they appologised for the issue, and stated if any other issues occur, call. They were even kind enough to ensure that when UPS deleivers it, the scope is signed for and not just left by the door.The Accupoint scopes minus the Trijicon they stated would gurantee for life against workmanship issues unless I used my rifle with scope attached as a base ball bat lol. So at this point I am very happy with the way they handled the repair and customer service. One other intresting topic was while discussing thier quality I commented about the ACOG. The lady told me that they will get in ACOG's from the Military for service work with either a bullet hole or the bullet still lodged in the ACOG and it still works. So when I get it back I will run it though its paces.

Either I or someone on my team in Technical Sales inspects every return we get after being opened and entered into our system by our Returns Department.
It may make you feel better that in the over three years I have been with Optics Planet, we have not seen an Accupoint reutrned with this issue.
My experiences dealing with Trijicon's technical support have been overwhelmingly positive, as well. No wait, no hold, and I don;t hear papers rustling in the background while searching for info - they are familiar with the products from memory.

I'm going to run TPS base and rings just need ring hight to order.

I got Nightforce Medium Ultralights on a 20 MOA Murphy Precision titanium base. I think the height is right with these.
