What do you all think about Trijicon's LED ACOG? I'm considering a TA02 because I like that I can adjust the intensity of the reticle up or down depending on lighting conditions. Do you believe the LED ACOG is worth over $1,000 without the dual illumination that Trijicon is known for?

I have two of them and they are outstanding, the also function well with NVO too.

the Browe BCO is a better design than the Trijicon led.

4x32 BROWE Combat Optic

That said, IMO the 1-X variable power optics are superior to the fixed power ACOG type optics. I'd still give the edge in combat duability to an ACOG. I've seen the ACOGs really take some abuse in the Army. That said, I'd still take a 1-X variable into combat today. I don't abuse my optics.

Trijicon is claiming a significantly longer battery life than Browe. Trijicon claims 12,000 hours while Browe claims only 2,000 hours. Nevertheless, I'm keeping my eye on Browe and welcome the competition to the ACOG. The only way Trijicon is going to innovate is if there's another company nipping at their heels.
