Mourning,
I am needing a scope for my varmint rifle and am considering the Trijicon model listed in the title. I have always shot 50mm objective and a pretty simple crosshair. {low knobs}
The majority of my shots are inside 250yds, therefore really not looking for a range finding crosshair etc. Yes, this is a second focal plane scope, {Japan,} in varmint hunting they have always worked for me. I am 67 years old, so, eyes are not the best, but I get by...
I have never owned a Trijicon and am looking for anyone who has some experience with this brand of optics. I will install the scope on a Tikka CTR. 223.
Thanks,

I've got that exact model on a 700 in .223. Bright clear glass, I like the reticle. I've only used it so far @ 100 yards but
I am very happy with it so far.
The only thing I'd watch out for is that the magnification ring JUST CLEARS my bolt handle, like thickness of a sheet of paper close ( I've got an oversized plastic knob mounted over the stock Remmy bolt handle).
HTH,
