Anyone with hands on experience on the new Trijicon SRS?

I am running an Aimpoint Micro T-1 on my SPR, but looking to see if SRS is any better.

I read that it's much heavier and bulkier than T-1, but I would like to hear about hands on experience if any.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Trijicon SRS vs Aimpoint Micro T-1

I have a hard time figuring out how it could be better, guess i'd have to shoot with one to see. But on paper, the Aimpoint looks just fine.

Aimpoint 3.7 ounces, 2 moa dot
Trijicon 15.1 ounces, 1.75 moa dot

The solar power thing is kind of cool on the SRS but when a battery on the Aimpoint can last 5 years, i find solar to be quite unnecessary and just added weight.

Everyone knows the micro can take one hell of a beating.

With the SRS at twice the price of an Aimpoint micro... I'm having a real hard time seeing what makes it command twice the price.

I'm interested to know the thoughts of people that own one as well.

Re: Trijicon SRS vs Aimpoint Micro T-1

I own a T1 and have ran the SRS a few times.
Both are good optics that I would trust.
I couldn't say either is faster than the other or better.

read the specs, pick the one you think you would like better and go for it.
I don't think you would be disappointed either way.
SRS is new of course but Trijicon did their homework I am sure.
