Tripod Decision Help

Hey Guys,
I am trying to decide between the following tripods:
Two Vets No Name
Two Vets 40 Mike Mike
Leofoto LN 364C
Cretac/Feisol 3372

As much as I would love one, an RRS tripod is not in the cards for me at this time.

Usage would be primarily local NRL style matches which don't involve hiking, but I would love to have a tripod which would work for field matches as well (i.e. packable/hikeable). Durability is an important factor to me, as I have broken a couple cheaper tripods. As well, I would prefer a decent warranty and good CS in the event of breakage.

I have it narrowed down to the above options. Which would you choose and why?

Whichever tripod I go with, I want to use an RRS Anvil 30 head with it. Which model/adapter of Anvil 30 would I need? RRS page shows it with no adapter (head only), + Apex Conversion kit, + Anvil 2/Anvil 3 Platform adapters, or with Anvil-Ascend hardware as options and I am not sure which one to get.

I work as a customer service rep for RRS. Best of luck on your hunt for the tripod! As far as your questions regarding the Anvil-30 go I'm happy to help. Our Anvil-30 will fit the Two Vets No Name and 40 Mike Mike. It will also fit the Leofoto and Feisol tripods you have listed above. If you're looking to attach the Anvil-30 to another tripod we have a couple of options that will work for you. The first option is getting the Anvil-30 Head Only. This allows you to attach the Anvil-30 to most tripods that have the 3/8"-16 male thread. The other option is the Anvil-30 3 Platform Adapter which allows you to attach the Anvil-30 to a 75mm platform like you find in the No Name and 40 Mike Mike. Just a heads up tho, we can't guarantee seamless integration or superb performance when attaching the Anvil-30 to a third-party tripod. Hope this helps and happy hunting!

I saw that, I know in these times of uncertainty it is difficult to make a call but any idea when the bases may come in? Or is it possible to call and backorder?

I have the Innorel 90C and Anvil 30 with the adapter plate made by a gentlemen on the hide. Works great. There is a huge, old now, forum post debating them all if you are curious.

Check Ebay for Leofotos. The seller on there has the "make an offer" turned on. I got my LS-364C for $200.

I would stay away from any Chicom crap, especially Leofoto who blatantly rip off RRS designs. Of the ones you mentioned I would go with the Feisol 3372. It's light for the size and very stable with the Anvil 30 and Series 3 adapter.

Have the feisol 3372 with a RRS leveling base and their lever release clamp. I'm not overly hard or using it in the mud or sand, but no issues with mine
