Holy highway robbery batman. Thats the Alamo four star DLOC that sells for $79 on their website. PT has marked it up $100 dollars unless thats a serious typo on their part. The down side is Alamo four star doesnt have the item in stock and wont for months, they wont even speculate when. I know this because I ordered one and it never showed up so I sent them an e-mail only to find this out after my purchase. As nice as Alamo's kit looks, i am not confident in recommending buying anything direct from them, their customer service is non existant.

Im still looking for something like the dloc for the same application as the OP. If anyone knows where to get a similar item, please chime in.

To the OP, that Larue adapter will only work with the Manfrotto tripod system shown. The Alamo4 star will work on any standard tripod.

Huh, I had just the opposite happen with Alamo. I was just going to suggest them for the tripod as well as the adapter. I really like mine. Tripods are light, versatile and rock solid prone, sitting and up to kneeling. Maybe I caught them at the right time but my experience was quite positive.

My experience with the Phoenix Tactical unit is that you can't get accessories for it no matter how hard you try. It's a neat unit, but the feet that comes with it aren't really feet. In fact, they are nothing like the Harris Bipod add-ons they make. I've been attempting to get the tripod feet for two years AFTER I got the tripod, and I've never been able to them.

I even offered to pay for a production run of them, when I had the cash laying around.

Not sure what you are talking about as this is a tripod rail adapter thread. Are you looking for feet for a tripod?

FWIW:

The feet for the phoenix tactical DCLW tripod.... The top is a dloc, which attaches to lower rails on the rifle. In my case a TRG-42.

Purchased it, and it arrived with some very flimsy "feet" on it. Now matter how hard I've tried, and I've tried pretty hard, I can't get the foot sets for the tripod. There are supposed to be rubber ones, claws, etc... And I've also noticed that other production runs have VERY sturdy versions of the "feet" I've got.

It's a nice nice tripod, but your cannot get the additional parts for it. (Heck, as of today you can't event get on the website.)
