Trouble shooting a New Rem 700 , need ideas

OK , the weapon is a bone stock rem 700 chambered in 300WSM , I have shot 3 differant FACTORY loads out of it from both Federal and Winchester , all the rounds are a little bit harder to close in the chamber than and of my other factory 700's but not that bad , but they are all stickey to get out. All the factory loads cronograph close to the factory specs ,,I soft seated a bullet in a lightly neck sized case to see where the throat started ,its about as long as most factory guns.
NOW
the formed cases are measuring .009"-.010" larger than the non fired case and they are this much to big from .100" above the rim all the way up. BUT the measuerment from the base of the case to the datum line on the shoulder is only .004" longer on the fired cases than on the non fired.
All primers are flattened and slightly craterd
A couple of the Winchester XP3 cases would not extract and had to be tapped out with a cleaning rod and had the primers fall out !!

I'm sure the weapon needs to go back to Remington but I'd like to know what the problem is before I do send it back , I've sent them 2 guns in the past with bad chambers and then came back fixed but with a letter that said "everything was within out specs" so i waht to know nthe truth before I send it back to get fixed

I guess you could cast the chamber with cerrosafe (I think thats the name of it) and measure all of the appropriate areas of the casting. I have never done that, but I have a buddy who has on a couple of his rifles. You could also find someone with a borescope and examine the chamber for any obvious problems. A different buddy of mine had the same problem you are having on a Rem 700 300WSM and he had to send it back. They rebarreled it and it now shoots great and the turnaround was pretty quick from Remington.

i don't have any cerosafe , i did check it out wit a bore scope and it looks very good for a factory gun

Are they sticking on the sidewall of the case or just from the overpressure you are
experiencing. Look for chamber scratching on the sides. A small chamber diameter
will up pressures fast. Last year I had a barrel set back on a 22-250 and the chamber
was sticking rounds like yours. Loads that were under 3400 were chrono-ing at 3800.
I had to have it fixed as some rounds I had to bang on the bolt to open. The other
thing it displayed was the bolt would feel like I hit a wall once the extractor engaged.
There was no mushiness, it just stopped.

no case scratching at all , the chamber looks great as far as the finish goes.
