Trouble with Pacific Took and guage

Has anyone one else had trouble with Pacific Tool and Guage delivering on blue printed Remington Actions?
I ordered one back in mid December. The site states 8 to 12 weeks. At the end of 12 weeks they told me one more week. Two weeks later they gave the same excuse but said another two weeks. Now with the same excuse it's another month out.
Their excuse is that I ordered a small firing pin hole and it takes longer to make.
If that's the case why don't they state that in their wait times and why won't they give me a real answer on when it will actually be done?

There’s numerous threads on here about PTG. I wouldn’t buy an asshole for a hobby horse from them. There are far too many good vendors to waste your time with them.

PTG has earned their horrible reputation with nightmare after nightmare stories of the poor customer service. Now when you try to cancel your item that hasn’t been built yet they will charge you a restocking fee…

It has been my previous experience that companies put items on sale, because they have inventory to liquidate... Apparently, PT&G likes to put items "on sale" that they haven't made yet. 2 months and counting waiting for Howa bottom metal... PT&G can choke on a bag of dicks...that is all.

Prior to the pandemic I got a bottom metal for a WBY 300 Mag. They even made custom mags which had to have metal removed/slots cut out on the sides to accommodate the rounds. They work great, look professionally tooled and arrived in a couple weeks. Their communication was good also. All this being said, I agree with the 2nd post on here. Total crapshoot.

Same here. About 4 years ago I bought PTG bottom metal they had on sale at a steep discount and got it pretty quick. Looks and works fine. However, I did hesitate at the "no returns, no refunds" clause. Rolled the dice and won that time, but probably won't ever do it again.
