Let me start by apologizing, I realize that ring height questions are asked often. However I am having trouble locating the specs on the scope I am wanting to use (Bushnell 4200 3-12x44 mil dot). I know the bell diameter is larger than 44mm but not sure of the exact size. The setup is going to be said scope with a RT 25 MOA base (.4921) on a Savage Mark II TR. As of now I am planning to run TPS TSR low(.925) rings.
(0.4921 + 0.925)-(bell x 0.5)
Thanks for your patience and help.

Re: Trouble with ring height

I think I may have posed my question wrong, my only problem is what is the objective bell diameter of the Bushnell 4200 3-12x44?

I just need to solve for X
(Base height + ring height) - (Objective bell diameter/2 - Tube diameter/2)
(0.4921 + 0.3342) - (X/2 - 0.5906)
Working backwards I would assume that my max X would be 2.5838 or 65.6mm. I will further assume that the scope OB diameter is not larger than 65mm, unless my math is wrong.
Thanks

Re: Trouble with ring height

I dont know the exact scope bell dimensions...but...I can guarantee it is much smaller than 65mm.
Probably more like 50-52mm.

For instance: A 50mm Zeiss conquest measures 56mm on the outside of the bell. That number is fresh in mind cause I just mounted one.

Your set-up should be fine.
