Take it from an at that time, 29 year old idealistic dumb ass, along with over 19 million other idealistic dumb asses that voted for Ross Perot in 1992, chopping off one’s nose to spite his face when it comes to presidential elections can and will change the course of history like you never could have believed when making that “right” decision to vote (or not to vote) “on principal.”
In order to get our votes, that lying assed George H. W. Bush promised he would tell Democrats “Read My Lips, No New taxes!!!” And when he broke that promise, boy did we show him! Bush lost the popular vote by only 29.4% of what Perot siphoned away from the only two real candidates that had a chance of being elected POTUS.
While we thankfully elect presidents via an electoral college system, no-one denies that had Perot NOT been in the race, or had we geniuses that completely threw our votes away just held our noses and chose between the only two turds that had a chance of winning, Bush would have been elected instead of Clinton.
While no-one can calculate all of the damage Bill Clinton did to our country, one must wonder if we would have ever even heard the name Osama bin Laden had Bush been elected. And who was the POTUS in 1994 when the so-called Assault Weapon ban bill was passed?
I know as sure as the sun came up yesterday that this will fall on deaf ears, but just for fun, remember you heard it here. When we allow any one of these Democrat freaks currently running for POTUS to be elected, a fricking background check, is look like a gift from God when they get through with us.
Hang on to your hats when this next Democrat POTUS is seeking gun control input from AOC and Ilham Omar, or from the other two members of the Squad, that according to the New York Times 2 days ago, is “the Future of the Democratic Party.”
P.S. Trump is a northeastern Yankee so he likely means what he’s saying regarding the background checks. But, he’s also a negotiator and he could flip this thing around on the Dems and end up with a victory.
If Repubs were as good at chess as the Dems, they would come up with a bill that, for example, required inner city leftist judges to impose mandatory long term sentences without any bond on their thug base when convicted of a violent crime with a gun.
The leftist Democrat Party is the party of lawlessness. They will not enforce current laws and only want new laws to impose as a tool on us. Turn the tables on these totalitarian leftist shit eaters by including some language taking away their catch and release revolving door inner city scam that allows them to keep control of these large cities, then watch this background checks bill melt like butter in a scalding skillet.
