I have a Buckmark bullseye with the 7" barrel and want to get a threaded barrel to run my incoming suppressor.

Looking at the TS barrels I see they do not offer a threaded 7" barrel. I'm a little apprehensive of going to the shorter 5.5" threaded barrel.

Has anyone else made this change? How is the accuracy with the TS barrel?

Or is there something else you guys would recommend?

Thanks

Dan

Re: TS Buckmark barrel

I went shorter on my barrel because when you add the suppressor it makes the gun long. I went with a 4 inch tac sol barrel. This also keeps the rounds from going super sonic which makes it much quieter when using a suppressor.

How's your accuracy compared to before the switch?

Re: TS Buckmark barrel

I also went with the 4" TS barrel, and my accuracy has basically stayed the same as the factory barrel. What I gained is a threaded, shorter, lighter barrel to screw my suppressor on.....

I can still easily deliver 15 yard, standing, 5 shot 1" groups....and with my suppressor, my red dot, and good ammo, squirrels out to 30 yards are in serious danger.

Re: TS Buckmark barrel

I would think the biggest loss you will have with the shorter barrel is sight radius, but I have the 7.25" so I can't speak from first hand experience on the shorter barrels. I run a rail and Burris FastFire II on top of mine, which is a VERY nice combo. So simple and accurate my wife calls it cheating.

I have a 4" threaded barrel. I bought it mainly because I wanted it short so when adding the can it isn't so long. Like the poster above said it will keep it quieter with my can.

Personally, I'd prefer to have the 5.5 to get the benefit of the longer sight radius for Steel matches.
