Also,

Our first 1000 yard IBS paper match is this weekend the 3rd.
Sunday the 4th is 600 yards. Tactical rifle/factory class new for this year.

Yep, same here. I'm definitely going to do the Short Course and I'm going to try to make back up for the Intimidator. Where in Ohio are you coming from?

Stovetop.. I'm from Londonderry down around Chillicothe if your anywhere close let me know. It makes for a shorter ride if you have someone to talk to.

Chillicothe!? I thought you said you were from southern Ohio!? Haha! I'm in South Point, the southern most tip of Ohio. I'm only about 10 minutes away from Huntington, WV. When I put TVP in the GPS it tells me to go to Charleston and then blast up I-77. Looks like it will be about 3 hours unfortunately.

Making arrangements to be at both Ill let you know for sure in couple days.

Ive posted a few more videos from the last short course match. You gotta surf thru some of the other videos I have on my channel to find the TVP ones, Most are marked "TVP" first to make finding them easier.
Look under ALL videos to find more. They give a good idea of how the steel matches go and how the course looks. Very fun day and great guys to shoot with.

I think we should leave it shoot what ya bring.
It's a fun course for everyone!

Been thinking about a bench at each station.
Would be easy to do for short course.
Stations one and three are to the right and left of benches
There are two portable benches not being used.

This was suggested by another shooter, after somebody said no prone.
Why did we have to miss learning from guy that want's to teach?

Enough of that.

woodspider, videos look good. If you make it for the Intimidator it would be cool to make and post a video of a team in action on one of the stages so everyone could see how the team match works.

Ill be coming to both the Saturday short course and Sunday long range course. Trying to get my spotter/ Sunday match partner Eric but I believe he is working all weekend?? Ill let you know.So if he doesnt make it... If anyone needs a Sunday partner let me know, Im a great spotter but a lousy trigger man...lol...

I'll be there both days, Saturday with a new young shooter and Sunday hopefully back with my old partner. We'll see, it really don't matter as long as I'm out shooting.

Can somebody explain to me how the match works on Sunday. I know how the scoring works as far as 10pts first hit, yadda yadda yadda, but how does this work with the teams? IIRC, mscott told me there is a time bonus if you both shoot all 4 targets a piece within 8 minutes??? How many points is the time bonus worth? What if there is an odd number of people? I don't know if I'll have anyone else coming up with me or not.....I'm scared....

Dont be scared stovetop we wont make you shoot by yourself. and the bonus is if you both shoot it under 5 minutes but you have 8 minutes to shoot your targets.
Just be there at 9 am and all your questions will be answered

You still planning on both days, stovetop? Position 2 on the short course is the same as position 2 of the Intimidator, but different targets. You'll be able to see what you have to look foreward to. As long as it's not too late we can also shoot position 1 so you can get an idea what that's all about. I wouldn't put too much thought into the bonus time your first time shooting the Intimidator.

INFO: We've had a few shooters ask to camp out so they dont have to travel. There are a few of us planning to do so. Glen is supplying the BEER..after the range is cold of course. May even do some shooting at nite with suppressors. Bring food and prefered beverage if your interested. Looks like about six campers so far. We will be having a fire Saturday nite.

Take 70 E to 93 North follow 93 north thru Otsego continue till you see TR rd 145 on right. Turn right and TR 145 dead ends into TR 118 turn slightly left range is first driveway on right. You cant miss it. Maybe you can meet someone and follow them out.

Yeah I'm going to shoot both days. I talked my dad into using my SPS Tactical .308 for the short course, but I don't think he's going to shoot on Sunday.

New guy here: long time hunter & intermediate NM/Camp Perry shooter coming down from Akron. This looks like the perfect groundhog practice course! I'd like to shoot the short course with my NM flattop AR .223 setup w/ 10x fixed mildot scope. I'll show up with the BCG removed, but would a chamber flag be ok? Also, is everyone working from a 200 yd. zero?

Closest run is only a few miles and I can give directions for that...

we can post again, or you can go back to the post with the pics of all of the targets.(All info is there)

We've been trying to get the feel of this course with one shooter and one guy on either side spotting, plus spotting scope behind shooter.

Both courses are serious fun.
Any questions just ask.

Short course mid 20 should do.
Long may take about 50.
May also shoot a couple long stations Saturday afternoon.
Bring extra for rest of time.
Could also shoot cans Sat night.

Depends on shooters.

Bonus for getting long done in 16 shots.

8 min for team is not easy.
5 min for team is harder.
It's worth ten extra points.

17-51 rounds for the Intimidator
all of it depends on when you hit the targets (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shot)

Bring plenty of extra ammo.
There is a lot of steel that can be seen from the benches!
Fun trying to figure yardage with scope and whacking!
For guy's that are going to shoot fixed power, non-adjustable, I did the math for target size in moa for the short course.
Should be able to get to about 600 using target size, good dope, and KY windage with hunting gun.
If you want to check it, just ask when I do registration.
May have in 'Puter by then.

Officer Obie only had 8x10 color glossies with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one.

What it looks like to me there is two classes one Tactical Rifles(Custom) and another for stock or factory built.
