TVP Tactical Steel match May 16th 10:00 A.M.

Shooters,

We will be gathering again on the 16th to smack some steel targets at various distances. Things are greening up now and the plates show up very well painted white. We will shoot the same format as before.
Please bring ample amounts of beverages and food to last the day 6-8 hours sometimes. Some guys are bringing chairs and sit around and BS about ballistics and such while waiting their turns. Also, bring some bug spray because TICKS are starting to move around more. (RODENT)!!
Looking forward to seeing you guys and we have some new shooters coming in for this one too.

Shooters,

Other dates for steel shoots are 5-23, 5-30 and 6-20 for those who wish or need to plan ahead further. Please let us know what works for you. 5-23-09 after the DAY shoot we planned to primitive camp/cook-out and shoot Sunday morning. A chance to see a beautiful sunrise over Thunder Valley.

I will supply the deer steaks and Glen will supply the BEER!

What is the round count? What type of format is it? How many shooters can come? I want to come to a few of these this year but would like a little more info. What is the closest lodging to the range. Its about a 6 hour ride for me to get there.

Shooters,

Round count is 48 rounds minimum but most shooters bring extra ammo for chronograph and some fun after. We will engage 16 steel targets from 4 different locations. Jon Addis may be so kind to do his magic with the 3d post as before?

All new shooters are always welcome and it looks to be a good turn out.

Match fee is $30 members $35 non-members

Match lasts about 6 hours or so...average 16-20 shooters.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL BOLTS ARE OUT OF RIFLES BEFORE ARRIVING ON TVP PREMISES.

I may need to bring an extra cooler if more than a couple decide to do the overnighter!

Ed, Please try to come to one of the steel shoots.
If you can hit a claybird at that range, you are good to go!

Tom wants to start at 10:00 Sharp!
As I understand it, this is when we are loaded and going up the hill.

If we can chrono by 9:00/9:30, and print our own charts, it would save time. Working together, should be easy.

I want to try to make it to this shoot, will have to see whats going on though...sure wish my form 4 would come in by then but I highly doubt it.

From Coshocton--- Follow the 541 east signs through Plainfield - Just out of Plainfield about a mile or so look for TR 118 at TOP of hill- turn right/south and go one mile where are on left side of road you will see OHIO1000 signs at end of drive.

Tom, sorry man but count me out for this shoot. I didnt even realize that it was THIS weekend somehow, its been a crazy two weeks of work and theres no way Im going to be able to get away. Ill be out of town Memorial day, and the weekend after that I have to move my girlfriend, so hopefully there will be a match sometime after that I will be down for sure...maybe by then I will have powder, primers, bullets, and if Im really lucky my suppressor in my possession.

Have fun guys looks like it should be a good weekend weatherwise.

How can we store ticks in a chip case? (i miss 35mm)
