Two Berger 6.5 130 VLD's?

If this has been explained I missed it while searching (trying not to ask questions that have already been answered).

Berger has two 130 VLD's in 6.5 listed on their site one is a Match Hunting VLD and one is a Match Target VLD, except for the name and Berger part # what is the difference in the two?

Since the VLD is a good dual purpose target/hunting bullet and I have just started reloading, can someone explain the difference?

Thanks

i havn't looked into it but would venture to say that there is a difference in the two....is it possible that the "match target" uses a different grade of copper than the "match hunting"..??
like i said, i haven't looked into it but there's got to be a difference

One is a "Thick Jacket" and one is the "Hunting" Bullet. The hunting bullet has the original J4 style jacket and is prone to come apart at high velocities and or high RPMs.

The thick jacket is for target use only.
