Who: Course Conducted by Will Farrugia, Lead Instructor for Florida Firearms Training LLC and Maritime Executive Solutions LLC.

What: This course will be invaluable to anyone who wants to experience the satisfaction of long range precision marksmanship. It is specifically designed around the needs of shooters (both new and old) that are interested in learning the fundamental skills for shooting accurately at long range. Course intent is to cover the techniques required to achieve precision first round hits out to 500 yards.
Where: Course will be hosted at the beautiful Okeechobee Shooting Sports range located just 4 miles outside Okeechobee Town Center Florida.
We will be shooting at reactive steel and paper targets on berms located at 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards.
Course Includes: Classroom and on-range practical training that includes Rifle Set-up, Optic Set-up and Correct Placement, Sighting In, Bi-pod, Sling and Ammunition Selection and Ballistic Comparisons, Correct Bench and Prone Shooting Positions, Understanding Eye Relief, Breathing, Grip, Trigger Control, Follow Through, doping rifle to 500 yards. Anyone interested in placing precision fire on targets at or near the maximum effective range of their rifle will learn the art and science involved in doing so in this course. Students that complete the course will leave with a combined knowledge of their personal capabilities with their equipment. Space is limited to six students.
When: Nove 11th & 12th 2013.
Ammunition Required: 160 rounds of match grade ammunition. NO Steel Core or AP ammo allowed.
Prerequisites: Students must be safe and competent with their chosen rifle.
Additional Equipment: A .308 or similar caliber Precision Rifle capable of Minute of Angle Accuracy (Precision rifles are a necessity for a course of this kind.), Quality Adjustable Scope (A scope that will allow for precision shooting at 500+ yards, Mil Dot, Target Turrets, BDC etc reticules are recommended.), Bipod, Sling, Rear Bag, Shooting Matt, Binos / Spotting Scope, Head Cover, Cleaning Kit, Pen / Pencil, Highlighter, food and water, eye and ear protection, Rifle Data Book and Notebook, Calculator.
