Hi folks. I've been considering a TVT QDT for a while and just noticed the new 65mm ball head. Anyone have any reviews of the 65mm ball head and comparison with the 55mm head? The gun is right on the 20lbs mark, so I'm not sure whether the 55mm head would be stable enough. Thanks in advance.

I have the 55mm head and do not have experience with the 65. In my experience most of your stability is going to come from the legs you select so if you have the head on a sturdy set of legs, the 55mm should be adequate for a 20# rifle.
