UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

Might as well be worse than a movie actress while he's in Africa. Maybe he should adopt a kid before he leaves since he's already at the gates of douchebaggery. Why not enter?

Seriously? War as a vacation? I'm surprised he doesn't think of prison as a waterpark.

ROFLMAO...now THAT is f*ckin funny!

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

it's all fun and games until he starts getting shot at and realize that the rebels are getting more and more broke by the minute because Libyan assets are frozen and he end up as a hostage for ransom. Or just get butt fucked by a bunch of dudes with AKs.

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

The part where he says that he hasn't spent one dollar, since he's been there, is the most priceless line.

He's basically a mooch. He's doesn't do shit, but stand there and have his picture taken. The people he's tagging along off of, have shit in the way of arms, supplies, and the basics to run an opposition, and this little rich turd comes into the warzone, with the handle from his silver spoon dangling out of his ass.

Let his name be known far, and wide, as his generation's Clark Griswold, or more appropriately...Uncle Eddie.

Except people pay to do it one a one way range, you generally get paid to do it on a two way range

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

And as soon as he gets in trouble, what will it cost the tax payers to save his dumb arse?

Prime candidate for the Darwin Awards if you ask me.

Brave? More like stupid...

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

He's bucking for the inaugural role as a new brand of role model.

("Yeah he's an Ugly American, but he's OUR Ugly American".)

He's a token, and just the first of many (if that). Notoriety incarnate.

In the end, he will simply fuel the foreign ridicule against Americans in general.

He's just another stupid little preppie Bastard who doesn't know how to mind his own damned business.

Not the first, as I hear.

Just what Mommie and Daddie sent him to school to do. Makes them sooooo proud...

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

Things I see going wrong here.

1-He is a novelty.
2-The SAS were shot at and captured when they went to support the rebels.
3-How long before the novelty wears off and he starts to look like fresh meat?
4-He has no weapons training, or a weapon.
5-Nobody seems to have contact or know how to support him.
6-He does not speak the language.
7-He is a college kid in way over his head.
8-This will end up with US forces rescuing him at some point.
9-What will he do if he is captured as a spy or a rebel?
10-How big a book deal do you think he will get out of this?

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

I should just go over there, and "rescue" him.

It would elminate his chances for a book deal by a fair amout, and he wouldn't be able to pull off some Al Gore-ish bragging.

Re: UCLA Student joins Rebels in Libya

Never underestimate stupid people with lots of money... I bet if the new call of duty or battlefield was out, he would've opted to stay home and play that during his break instead of getting idiotic ideas like this one.
