Just correcting you in your wishful thinking.
Like i mentioned it was fairly modern Spanish build littoral ship that got sunk by the Ice rated liner( Rated 1A+ which is highest ice rating, can be used as icebreaker on its own.) , Litorals patrol ship are small and hardly blue ocean ships , in any case it was not some local poorly build clunker held together by paint and duct-tape.
It was hit at and 45° angle and it sunk after an hour or so.
''At around 01:05
local time,
Naiguatá approached
RCGS Resolute from the starboard quarter and, after suddenly changing course to port, collided with the bow of the cruise ship at a relative angle of about 45 degrees between the vessels. Few minutes after the initial impact,
RCGS Resolute's master ordered the port side
controllable pitch propeller first to zero pitch and then to astern thrust in order to separate the two vessels. The company DPA instructed the cruise ship to remain on site and contact the local Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC). At 01:38, about half an hour after the collision,
Naiguatá's
AIS-SART was activated but
RCGS Resolute was unable to establish contact with the sinking Venezuelan vessel over VHF and instead reached out to JRCC Curaçao. About one hour later, the Venezuelan crew was seen preparing
liferafts for launching. At 02:43, JRCC Curaçao relayed a statement from the Venezuelan authority responsible for the region, MRCC La Guairaa, that
RCGS Resolute's assistance was no longer needed on site and instructed the cruise ship to proceed to Willemstad in order to avoid problems with the Venezuelan Navy.

Avante 1400 class a light cheap and fairly popular patrol boat 140mio$ a pop.
And last time gender balanced crew run a game of chicken in Norway thing sunk/was beached to prevent sinking in mater of minutes , tanker barely had paint scratched , in ships size matters and commercial ships are built far more stout as they don't need to be fast , while warships make up with more watertight compartments and bulkheads, but are otherwise very thin skinned compared to most commerical ships.
A maritime blunder then a ruinous rescue attempt has left a multi-million dollar warship under NATO command almost entirely submerged in a Norwegian fjord.
