Upgrade recommendations for tikka ctr stock

I’m 6’7” and recently picked up a Tikka CTR. The factory stock does not fit so well. I need the cheek pad to be higher as well as an adjustable butt pad. I feel the best option would be to replace the stock and am looking for recommendations. I mainly shoot at the range (600y). Also, I’d like to keep the cost of the stock under the price of the rifle. Ideas?

There’s plenty of range for the average person. However I could be wrong because I’m told that I have short arms when it comes to reaching for the bill at restaurants and people ask me all of the time, why the long face. Just saying

I have a Bravo. Only thing I would add is that the cheek height adjustment is limited. I keep it just barely raised so it may still work for you. Additionally it comes with 3 spacers for the butt. I'm 5'11 with long arms (or so I've been told) and I use them all. Could potentially stack on more spacers but you'll need longer hardware than what it comes with to do so. Nothing a quick trip to the hardware store or an order from McMaster Carr couldn't fix.

KRG has accessories available to increase the adjustability of butt pad height and LOP, if the stock configuration is not enough.

They don't currently show a Tikka inlet on their website, but I have a couple Grayboe stocks I've been very happy with. One is inletted for a left hand T3, so they offered them at one time, and also had or still have a DBM for the T3 CTR. Might be worth a call to their custom shop if you're looking for a more traditional stock over a chassis. As a bench rifle though, and being 6'-7", you will probably find a better fit with one of the chassis offerings however. Grayboe does have frequent sales with significant savings over the pricing you'll find on their website.

Like others have said the Bravo has ample adjustment for both and IMO it’s a great looking chassis with plenty of accessories.

Thanks, I sent a note into Grayboe. I like the price/look of what they have to offer. Lets see if they support the CTR.

Price is always a consideration and IMO the bravo is comparable to stocks that cost much more. If you did buy one and ever decided you wanted something different you could easily get most of your money back. They go like hot cakes here in the PX.
