Hello all,
I currently own 2 Nightforce NXS scopes, both of which are identical except one has the 50 mm objective lense, and the other has the 56 mm objective. All other specs are as follows: 5.5-22X, MLR reticle, zero stop, 0.25 MOA turrets. Great scopes, no complaints except I want to have a scope with consistent reticle and turrets (i.e. mil/mil, or moa/moa). I've looked into getting either the reticle or turrets converted at the factory, which will cost me about $400 ea, and about 6+1 weeks wait. The other option is to sell one of both of these scopes and buy a new one set up the way I want it. Would also be nice to have first focal plane, but that would cost $500 for the 3.5-15X, to $1200 more for the BEAST than a new F2 NXS. Could consider a used F1 Premiere Reticle too. Anyway, I'm undecided. What would you guys do? Convert or sell and buy new? If you buy new, do you go all the way and shell out the extra cash for an F1 scope?
