Rifle Scopes Urgent: Mount elevation advice for Trijicon Accupower 1-8x28. 0 MOA or 20 MOA???

As the topic title states, I am looking to pick up an optic mount for a Trijicon Accupower 1-8x28. This will be going on either a 14.5" or 16" 5.56 AR or a 16" .308 AR-10.

The only question is do I go with 0 MOA or 20 MOA?
The optic in question is listed as having 29.6 Milradians of total elevation travel adjustment.

At the most 600-700 meters.

I think you will find either will work, but 20 MOA is always a safe bet with that much adjustment you have on tap.

See this is not urgent, just some math......

I opted for 20 moa geissele for this scope. Leaves a lot of elevation to play with.

Go with the 20MOA mount, no downsides really.

There was a post on Scout, where a Optronika engineer had mentioned not using canted mounts with 1-X optics. Reason being is that it would cause distortion with both eyes open at close range.

I had a Bushnell 1-8.5 mounted on a 20 MOA mount and could confirm that with both eyes open at a distance of 10 feet, I could see double. In reality it made no real difference for any kind of real shooting.

If someone could find that old post, they explained it much better than I.

I said urgent due to the Black Friday deals. Ended up getting a 20 MOA. Thanks for the advice!
