Can't help exactly, but It totally dulled the finish of some black painted diamond plate steel in my work van. Like immediately the first time cleaning that diamond plate with Simple Green.

Odd that people say it will dissolve aluminum.
The equipment I use for work is aluminum robotic cameras, and the OEM van setups always have simple green in them lol.
Maybe not meant for the cameras, but everyone uses it.
And most don't realize it's concentrated either.

Use CLR Pro, it's safe for titanium and stainless steel, and won't hurt cerakote. Mix 3:1... 3 parts water to 1 part CLR. Do NOT use heat in the US cleaner, it will damage the cerakote if it gets too hot.

I use simple green for a lot of things and yes when you buy it by the gallon it definitely needs to be diluted before use. At least 2:1 if not 3:1.

also there are different Simple Green versions- I know Home Depot sells a purple version (Simple Green Pro/HD), but make sure you don't buy the Purple Power stuff that is bad for aluminum. The SG Pro/HD version says that it is safe for aluminum and anodizing. I bought it to clean some of the aluminum parts that I don't want to put in my stainless pin tumbler (baffles go in that). If you can find it, the Simple Green Extreme Aircraft is the same as the Pro/HD version but according to Simple Green it's the same as the Pro/HD but their "commercial" version vs retail. You can get it on Amazon.
