Rifle Scopes US Optics B25 EREK2 turret question

Just picked one up and am wondering if there's a way to bottom out the elevation travel like the original EREK turrets.

Currently getting about 20 mil travel with a 30MOA base, but there's about 4.5 left under the zero. I'd love to have that extra.

And another question for the USO guru's out there - I pulled the elevation turret, because you know, somebody had to, might as well be me... there are two tiny little ball bearings sitting in the bottom. Are those supposed to be loose, or are they supposed to be under the locking ring? Or somewhere else?

I heard back from USO about the travel - with the new EREK2's, what you end up with is what you get, there is no bottoming the travel like the original EREK.
