Night Vision Used Exelis PVs-14

How hard is it to sell one of these used. Any legal responsibilities I have or anything. I got a pvs-14 about 4 years ago and have used it for less than 200 hours and was looking to sell it.

I have a data record from like 2013 with it but the documentation is kinda limited. I am the original purchaser.

Serial number matches the Data Record.

I'm just worried about the ITAR restrictions on them....I dont know maybe i read too much online but I dont want really want the feds coming after me if these end up in Afghanistan or something like that...more importantly I would be absolutely devastated if an American service members (or allies or law enforcement or really anyone innocent) got hurt as the result of the use of one of theses. Id rather take the monetary loss and destroy them myself.

Edit: Im also worried about some other restrictions or what ever i" dont know that i dont know" about regarding these. I'm in no hurry to sell them. I have zero experience with fire arms as i dont own one or anything like that. Sorry. Im just a bleeding heart millennial who is looking at my options to sell these responsibly .

I've sold several items in the past, and bought of course. Whenever you sell something that is restricted put the disclaimer that it is ITAR restricted and that you will only sell it to someone living in the contiguous 48. and that they need to understand the legalities of it. Nothing wrong with sending it with an email that they acknowledge understanding. Keeps you out of trouble that way. I sold one to a friend near me that I knew, so no big deal considering he understand ITAR as well as I do.
