    See the winner

USSC just dropped a bomb

Yeah, you gotta love the reported “19,000” ghost guns reported to be picked up by police over the last several years when we all know the truth of the matter is they have been reporting firearms with the SN scratched out as ghost guns, there’s no way crooks assembled 19,000 polymer 80’s. What I want to know is how many of these crooks that go along with these 19,000 ghost guns are now behind bars; I’m guessing no very many.

Once again, we the law abiding citizens, pay the price for the criminals because the fools making laws can’t make illegal activities any more illegal than they already are, so they persecute the law abiding instead. 🙄

Edit. I know, it’s not really about crime at all, it’s about control and them feeling like they can’t really do what they want because of the number of armed citizens who might take issue with their deepest desires.

And who’s gonna enforce yet another clearly unconstitutional law. That’s right. The police. They don’t want anyone armed. And will do anything to protect that gravy dollar rolling in

But if it's a Biden-era regulation and not a law passed by Congress and signed by Biden's Autopen...

What difference does it make? It's a regulation. Change the regulation. New ATF director or AG can just change the regulation.

Or pass a bill stating that they are legal? Or illegal?

What does this change? Trump's new ATF can change this regulation at the stroke of a pen, no matter what the SCOTUS says? Ok... they said that Biden could create that regulation. By definition, that should mean that Trump can change that regulation.

The bigger question is... does this apply to 'all' regulations created by any agency? They now have the standing/power of law? How does that work? So now the congress is moot and the regulations all have the force of law?

That's the bigger question, IMHO...

This here ^. The ATF is making rules without review or vote. So, why not change the rules cart blanche to what we want? I guarantee you if Kash would step up and do the job we want done, the judges and commies would cry for disbanding the ATF. That may be the key. Make the ATF a thing that commies want to end.

They have been known to cut off their noses to spite their faces.

I was thinking the same thing. This should be easily changeable since it is not a law that Congress passed and the POTUS signed.

I haven't read the details of this yet but have a couple of questions, maybe a legal nerd here can answer.

1. how did this happen when chevron deference was overuled? Not only that but several other SCOTUS cases supported aborting chevron as well.

2. Didn't SCOTUS rule a few years back that serial numbers were not required on firearms? IIRC, they even went so far as to say that you could remove serial numbers.

Surely I'm not the only one with these questions. Maybe if I read this decision these things are addressed.

I agree but the 2 "Saviors" , Patel and Bongino don't have the balls to change anything like what the other side does

U.S. District Judge Joseph Goodwin ruled that no historical standard exists to demonstrate that firearms without a serial number are more dangerous or unusual than firearms with a serial number, so the law is unconstitutional.

This was a pussy punt ruling for the SC... they didn't really rule much except to acknowledge that "some" kits/frame might fall under regulation of GCA.

As with weapons parts kits, Gorsuch conceded that the court’s “reasoning has its limits.” “Some products,” he wrote, “may be so far from a finished frame or receiver that they cannot fairly be described using those terms. But this case,” he wrote, “requires us to explore none of that.”

yes, regulations created by an agency functioning as "law" is the biggest problem we face in hopes of getting a free country back. many reasons. one being congress not legislating and doing their duty. they push that off to bureaucrats and spend their time trying to get re elected or rich from graft or both. the method of choosing who to allow into the bureaucracy is another issue not much discussed.

Thats a pretty good analogy, and we all know there is no getting the cake back.

The only option is to make mincemeat out of the enemy, then make mincemeat cookies and mincemeat pie to replace the cake they took.

Honestly, I think this ruling and case actually opens an opportunity in multiple ways!

If an unfinished block of aluminum or whatever is a firearm, then there is no way a suppressor or any accessory is not an “Arm”. Therefor
Suppressors and arms are clearly protected by the 2A!

Additionally if you listen to the SCOTUS brief on this and read what was presented to the court there are several clear lies that I believe would fall into the category of lying under oath. So in my opinion the DOJ should file charges against those from the ATF and others who presented to SCOTUS ON THIS ISSUE!

On another not directly related issue, if an unfinished block of material is a firearm, then an unfinished human is also a human by this precedent, and the federal government should start prosecuting those involved in abortion as murder and states that support it in murder for hire plots. Call me crazy but if .5=1 in this case it also workes out in the other.

I’m not sure about the rest of what you said, but I like your reasoning as far as abortion goes.

Shut your cock holster…shall not be infringed. How is everyone so dumb?
I offered two ways to make this a win on gun rights, 1: use there logic against them on other 2A related items. 2: prosecute those who lied to SCOTUS that caused this end result. Prosecuting them would also help open the door back to SCOTUS on this if further litigation happens down the road.

The point would be to take this loss and turn it into a win, or your can continue to cry in the corner and do nothing. Clearly, by my post I’m in agreement with the idea of “shall not be infringed”. But idiots like you will never think outside of a simple minded box to find the ways we shall actually win this fight in the end. Grow the fuck up.
