This is a copy of the email I sent out to every one I had addresses for. If you would like to be on the monthly email list, (or taken off) email me and let me know. [email protected]
End of 2010 Notice
UTAH SHOOTOUTS
Must have something to do with all the “no subject” email hackers going around lately, it has taken a while to get a email list together.
MONTHLY MATCHES
December 2010 - There will be no match.
January 2011 - Maybe a snow shoot. Let me know if anymore are interested. I'll send out emails for go or no go..
Monthly matches will continue every second Saturday of each month, at the North Springs Shooting Range, Price, Utah.
We are always looking for new ideas for COF and try to utilize the great facility we have in Price.
3rd ANNUAL UTAH STATE SNIPER SHOOT 2011
September 10 and 11, 2011
Plans have been in the works for two months now for this.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SEPT. 2011
I hope all that helped out last time will be back for more. Amount of help we have will determine the amount of shooters.
Even those that didn't get to help last year can volunteer for any position you like, for one day or two days. Set up, tear down, SO, asst SO, planner of stages, photographer, score keeper, pit crew, cook, etc. Will have some incentives for those shooters (and non shooters) that are willing to help. More incentive for Safety Officers, the ones that are responsible for running the shooters through the course of fire. All help will be given the opportunity to compete in the different stages before, during or after the other shooters. This can be looked at as a advantage or disadvantage, however you like. PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU CAN POSSIBLY HELP.
VOLUNTEERS FOR ANY MONTHLY MATCH
It certainly helps things move along better if we have plenty of help during all the shooting matches. If you would like to help SO, we will gladly show you how and give you plenty of practice. It's the practice that makes a good Safety Officer.
MINIMAL COST
I've always tried to make these shoots minimal cost events. That means nobody gets paid anything including me. I can tell you about how much money and time I've put in to these events for the last 3 years if you like. AND I DO NOT REGRET ONE CENT OR ONE MINUTE OF TIME I'VE PUT OUT. I also volunteer for the Utah Shooting Sports Council at the Salt Lake gun shows and the Pistol Marksmanship Classes at the University of Utah as much as I can.
WEBSITE
My website is down for rebuild for a while yet. The only website I have control over is www.utahshootouts.com Also I just registered utahtactical.org again so it should link up with my website again, since there is still printed targets etc. out there and some people still have that as my website.
EXCITED
There are several of us that are excited about and planning the new year already. Hope to see YOU there. And if you have any ideas for better shoots, please let me know.
Thanks, Clint
p.s.
The t shirts turned out so good last time I don't know how they could be beat. But after seeing some preliminary art work for next year, I think it's going to be real close.
