Value of chassis commonality for multiple rifles?

Is chassis commonality between rifles that important? I recently put my CZ455 22LR into a MDT ACC chassis and I love the way it feels. Looking to assemble a 223 rifle for PRS tactical division, and if I buy a barreled action (~1600) + trigger (~300) + MDT ACC chassis (~1200) I'm about 500-600 more than just putting in an order for a MPA PMR2. Ideally I'd stick with the MDT but the delta in total cost is hard to ignore. The barreled action would likely be a Big Horn Arms/Zermatt Origin. I do recognize given the costs in this game a $500 delta probably should be considered inconsequential, and that commonality is definitely better than not.
